1) Hand Write a book of the Bible. Journibles is a company that publishes blank books of the Bible with space to write out the Bible. They also include study questions about what you are writing out. Their website is http://www.the1718series.com/. Deuteronomy 17:18, which this product is named after, is a command for all future future kings of Israel to hand write a copy of the Law.
2) Listen to the Bible. There are many ways to listen to the Bible online for free. http://www.biblegateway.com has audible recordings for select translations. Also, http://www.audible.com has some inexpensive downloadable versions of the Bible. The trick, though, is to sign up for their membership for 1 month, which gives you 1 free download. For many of the Bible downloads, this gives you a 50-75% discount. Also, many times around Christmas they offer a free trial.
3) Memorize Scripture. It doesn't have to be long, but it should be challenging. Ephesians is a 6 chapter book that covers a great deal of theological issues. Romans 8 and Deuteronomy 6 are chapters that pack a punch. Southern Seminary has a list of 40 verses that everyone should at least be familiar with and they require all of their students to memorize (1 verse for each day):
